Worcestershire Law Society (‘WLS’) WLS was established in 1841 to unite, promote and support local lawyers and the Worcestershire Community. The Society has approaching 400 members including Partners, Solicitors, Paralegals and Trainees. WLS extended its membership to Barristers and Legal Executives who regularly attend and support our annual events. The Society supports the legal profession within the area by providing excellent CPD training courses and representing members’ interests. WLS also offers a number of social events throughout the year giving members an opportunity to meet with other solicitors within the County.

Closing date for nominations will be Friday 19th May and the nominees will need to be available for interview on Tuesday 27th June for a short interview with the judging panel.

Only individuals or firms who are/have members of Worcestershire Law Society are eligible to enter.

· When nominating an individual or firm, consider their professionalism, reputation, expertise and commitment to those they represent including any involvement for the benefit of the wider community.

· The definition of “junior solicitor of the year” to be newly qualified and solicitors with less than 5 years’ active PQE

· Nominations should include a supporting statement as to why the individual or firm has been nominated in a specific category and include the name of your firm. Incomplete nominations will not be accepted.

· The closing date for nominations is Friday 19th May 2023

· Nominations received after Friday 19th May 2023 will not be considered

· The judging panel will consider all nominations received by the closing date and draw up a final shortlist of nominees, who will be invited to attend an interview on Tuesday 27th June (please ensure nominee is available on this date)

· Category winners will be announced at the Legal Awards Dinner on Friday 15th September 2023 (please ensure nominee is available from 6pm on this date)
